This course will provide you with the confidence to carry out computer based tasks such as creating Word documents, Keyboard & Typing Skills, File Management and the essential skillset of emails, address book and calendar in Microsoft Outlook. From Microsoft Word, you will learn: • How to open, create and save a word processing document. • Enter, edit and move text selection. • Format text and practice good paragraph layouts. • Insert, edit and format tables. • Insert graphical images. • Proof read and prepare documents for print. From Keyboard / Typing Skills, you will learn: • Learn valuable Touch Typing Skills. • Know where to place your fingers & each key placement. • Record your progress as you get more confident with Touch Typing. • Increase your Words Per Minute with key practice. From Microsoft Outlook, you will learn: • Create and send a new email. • Attach files and photos. • Mark, flag and print messages. • Apply signatures to emails. • Manage email folders, contact lists and calendar. • Create, edit and update an existing contact and group. • Create, cancel and delete a calendar meeting. • Send meeting requests. • Create task lists and manage reminders. From File Explorer, you will learn: • Essential File Management Skills. • Organising of Folders & Sub-Folders. • Identify different File Types • Save time in searching for key documents.
