Supervised study at The Study Centre runs from September – December and January - June including midterms and school breaks.

• Supervised study takes place Monday- Thursday 4.30pm – 8.30pm, Friday 2pm- 6pm, and Saturday 10am - 2pm.

• 6 days of study (3.5 hours of study per evening) is €25 per week.

• Students have a kitchen facility to make tea/coffee, heat meals and take their breaks

• Our first study session is 1 ½ hours in length followed by a 20 minute break. A further hour of study takes place which is followed by a 10 minute break and then one final hour of study.

• Students may enter/ leave study only during break periods.

• Supervised study takes place in a designated study hall. There will be no usage of any other room permitted to study students.

• There are strict rules surrounding silence at all times within the study hall. These rules are enforced without regard to circumstances. Students who talk during study will be given a verbal warning, after this parents/guardians are contacted and students will be removed from study.

• We ask all parents/guardians to ensure students are fully aware of this rule and comply at all times.

• Phone usage is strictly forbidden during study. Each student is to place their phone in the phone boxes at the top of the room. We are aware students may have school work to complete online and we have laptops available in the Study hall for students use. However we encourage students to complete all other areas of study prior to doing work online. The laptops will be moved to other students at the start of each study session to make sure every student has an opportunity to use one for their school work.
