English as a second language

'Teaching English as a Foreign Language' (TEFL) usually describes English being taught to non-native English students in their home countries.

TEFL is an international educational industry whereby English teachers from the seven recognised native English speaking countries (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia & South Africa) and fluent non-native English speakers teach English in private and public schools throughout the world.

Our English teacher is qualified in TEFL.

Each course will run for a total of 60 minutes and will take learners from basic level English through to fluency and confidence in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

What is the aim of the course?

Our English Courses focus on effective communication in the workplace and everyday life.

This includes grammar work, introduction of vocabulary, pronunciation practice.

We focus closely on the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. That is to say 'Oral' and 'Aural' work.

Vocabulary is introduced and practised at every stage of the lesson, used throughout with plenty of examples and fortified using the persons first language.

We use role play and interactive games in order to ensure that students are communicating effectively and accurately. New language is enforced through meaningful speaking tasks and discussions.

Our aim is to ensure that by the end of the course students will be better able to use English more accurately and effectively and have a confidence to navigate an English speaking world.
